the woolshed

The Corbridge woolshed was refurbished in 2014, so now boasts impressive features and facilities as well as modern luxuries such as:

open plan 300sqm space | gas heating throughout | 2 modern restrooms | hardwood flooring | ample power points | designed lighting | potable water | kitchenette | picture frame windows | clear roller blinds | projector and screen

We have made an effort to stay true to the history of the building though, and left hints of it's original features in the yards outside and in salvaged wood panelling inside.

the grounds

We take a lot of pride in our grounds. Always well manicured and maintained, the grounds have been landscaped with a variety of occasions and events in mind.

Because we are no longer a working woolshed, we have not been restricted in terms of how we have developed the grounds surrounding the building. Not only is the space open, and green, with vistas of all mountain ranges, it is also incredibly functional.

The pond, complete with fountain, adds that lil' extra something to any event. The pond is fed by a fresh water creek that runs through the farm. It services as a stunning back drop to any 'I-Dos' or corporate event; with usage opportunities for any out-of-the-box ideas.

the container bar

Sitting along side the Woolshed, our full-fledged Container Bar is where the fun is at.

This bar is no afterthought. It was purpose built for business - fit out with 3 large bar fridges, steriliser, running water, PA system, and even a smoke machine. This beautiful asset now resides at Corbridge - available for use at all our events.

the farm

Corbridge Woolshed is situated on 800 acres of rolling fields. Breathtaking views can be appreciated from every corner, every direction, every angle - from the land and the sky. Vistas out to Mount Maude and Mount Gold to the north as well as the Clutha river.

Conveniently, Corbridge can be found just a 5 minute drive from Wanaka Township on the main Highway, and just a short trip over the hill from Queenstown.
