The woolshed was refurbished in 2014, so now boasts impressive features and facilities as well as modern luxuries such as:
- open plan 300sqm space
- gas heating throughout
- 2 modern restrooms
- hardwood flooring
- ample power points
- designed lighting
- picture frame windows
- clear opening blinds
A/V equipment - including projector, screen, speaker and cordless microphone
But we've also made an effort to stay true to the history of the building by leaving hints of it's original features... The overall aesthetic renders the perfect measure of rustic charm.
We take a lot of pride in our grounds. Always well manicured and maintained, the grounds have been landscaped with all occasions and variety of event in mind.
Because we are no longer a working woolshed, we have not been restricted in terms of how we have developed the grounds surrounding the building. Not only is the space open, and green, with vistas of all mountain ranges, it is also incredibly functional.
The Pond, complete with fountain, adds that lil' extra something to any event. The man-made pond is fed by the fresh water creek that runs through the farm. It services as a stunning back drop to any 'I-Dos' or corporate event; with usage opportunities for any out-of-the-box ideas.
There is also enough space for several helicopters to land, and a purposefully developed area directly behind the woolshed for catering to be set up out-of-sight.
Power has been run out to our primary ceremony site by the lake, and also to the dock meaning our hiring parties can get creative when it come to lighting or sound.
THE container bar
Sitting along side the Woolshed, our full-fledged Container Bar is where the fun is at.
This bar is no afterthought. It was purpose built for business - fit out with 3 large bar fridges, steriliser, running water, PA system, and even a smoke machine. This beautiful asset now resides at Corbridge - available for use at all our events.
Corbridge Woolshed is situated on 850 acres of rolling fields. Breathtaking views can be appreciated from every corner, every direction, every angle - from the land and the sky. Vistas out to Mount Maude and Mount Gold to the north as well as the Clutha river.
Conveniently, Corbridge can be found just a 5 minute drive from Wanaka Township on the main Luggate Highway, and just a short trip over the hill from Queenstown.
Our activities add a bit of fun and excitement to your event.

- Lawn games
